Last night, Brandy performed at the Best Buy Theater in NYC for her official Two Eleven release concert. The show was completely sold-out as the R&B diva celebrated the album release with a performance of her classics like “Baby” & “I Wanna Be Down”, as well as new hit “Put It Down.” Brandy also broke it down in the middle of her show with a Whitney Houston tribute. Almost 48 hours to the minutes after that controversial & emotional lost for the Green Bay Packers against the Seattle Seahawks, the NFL & NFLRA reached an eight-year agreement that has put an end to a lockout that began in June. Commissioner, Roger Goodell, insisted that the timing of the deal was not a reaction to the outcry over Monday night’s game. He said that the two sides had been in “intensive negotiations” the last two weeks but he acknowledged it “may have pushed the parties further along.” I, for one, am a little happy that we have the official refs back. No one likes to see a game end like that and for the past couple of days, that’s all we’ve been hearing about. Players and coaches have been fined and there are a lot of mixed reviews on this. They said that the only teams crying about this were the teams that have been losing. Which is kind of fair to say “TRUUUUUU”.

Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson said, “Those guys might mess up every now and then, but we can live with that happening with professional guys out there” which does make it a little better. No one is perfect but we’d rather have the professionals in there making those calls that piss us off! Anyways, I’m glad that the NFL owners are done being selfish and finally took care of business!
